Elside Co., Ltd. was established in 2023 and has been operating its business based on defense-related communication equipment and diving suits using aerogel blankets. It has a track record of continuously receiving orders for communication equipment (repair parts, batteries) from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and delivering them year after year. Our company has been conducting research and development using aerogel since 2021, and is developing diving suits using aerogel with a government fund of 2.1 billion won from the Civil-Military Cooperation Promotion Agency, an organization under the Ministry of National Defense, for 24 months from November 2023 to October 2025. By applying composite material formulation and processing technology of aerogel blankets, we are commercializing semi-dry maritime infiltration suits that maintain the original ultra-lightness, ultra-insulation, and hydrophobicity of aerogel as much as possible.
