‘TUBYCON-U’ is a urine cup with a detachable tube.
Anyone can simply detach the tube from the urine cup.
By changing the tubes, you can collect multiple samples with a single urine cup.
Function
In a hospital laboratory, urine from a urine cup must be transferred to a small-mouth tube for urine testing. Many problems encountered in this process are solved with ‘TUBYCON-U’:
Preventing Infection: Prevents sample loss and contamination by aliquoting urine in a closed container.
Preventing Medical Accidents: The barcode is attached only to the detachable tube, which completely prevents medical accidents caused by switching samples or barcodes.
The sample tube serves as both the original sample and the aliquot.
Increasing Work Efficiency: A task of processing 1,000 samples that used to take about 4 hours can be done in up to 50 minutes.
