PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

KOT SFEX (Stand-Alone Fire Extinguisher) is a built-in measure to prevent emerging fires around electrical systems of ship vessel or any land facility.

Flourine based inhibitor in the structure is activated at elevated temperatures and fire is instantly put out.

This material is put in miscellanour models and shapes of products for varying application needs.

There are sheet, stick, and tape versions of SFEX to attach or place in electric panels, on cable trays etc..

Sockets, taps, control panels can be attached SFEX sheets or just include SFEX sticks so that fire can be automatically put out.

SFEX blanket is a kind of tool to cover fire area after the fire outbreak.

SFEX Line is a string-type product which can be stretched over a spacious room to sense fire faster and cover a larger volume.

SFEX Features:

» SFEX products are best solution to prevent fire at the very beginning of the fire, thus minimizes the risk of a fire outbreak.

SFEX is activated at 120 oC spontaneously when fire breaks out. It is intact between -40 oC – 80 oC range.
» It prevents enormous facility loss and other losses succeeding facility damage.

Conventional extinguishers are used after the outbreak which is generally already late to save the facility damage, and used chemicals harm the facility irreversibly.
