Dr. Myung-Ho Kim, the founder, has been conducting research in the field of extrusion since 1987, and has performed various projects with several global companies in single-screw extruder design, double-screw extruder design, and die design field. In 2008, after 21 years of industrial research, he moved to academia, organized research conducted in American and Korean industries, and conducted more intensive research while localizing and developing various machinability evaluation equipment. In 2010 he founded MKE and developed a torque rheometer, which had been dependent on foreign products, and developed and commercialized an MKE mixer that can efficiently perform small-volume compounding, and a screw rheometer that can easily and accurately measure shear viscosity. Since then, MKE have developed over 30 types of research equipment for polymer development, such as capillary viscometer, melt strength meter, wrap film forming equipment, and wrap compounder, with our own technology.
