* VCR FEMALE NUT  *

VCR fittings provide metal-to-metal sealing of high-purity products and provide leak-free service from vacuum to positive pressure.

Sealing by VCR assembly is achieved by assembling a gasket with a male threaded nut or a hexagonal the male threaded and the female threaded nut.

This is achieved by compressing the gasket between the two sides.

The seal bead area precisely polished on both glands compresses and seals the gasket, providing leak integrity by metal-to-metal sealing.

Composition and usage of VCR NUT (assembly)

① Fix the gasket to the gland.
② After fixing the male nut and female nut in a straight line, Tighten the male nut by hand until it does not move.
③ Fix the male nut and turn the female nut 1/8 with a wrench. Tighten by rotation

Advantages of Using VCR NUTs

① Because of its excellent sealing function, it can be used for flammable and toxic gases.
② Less dead volume

Disadvantages of Using VCR NUTs

① Cost-up because welding is required, and assembly time is long.
② Because welding is performed, damage to the passivation film is expected.

Application standard

① Applied to gas lines such as flammable and toxic gases.
② Applied to harmful gas piping where indoor environmental pollution and fire are expected in case of leakage
