Factory Normal only uses pure soy wax, free of any anti-shrinkage.

FAQs

Q. Why is my mint candle not mint-colored?

A. Because we avoided using artificial colorings. To keep the candles additives-free, we had to give up coloring them brown or mint. You can always feel the mint in the air instead!

Q. How long is the burning time?

A. The small one(4oz) lasts for about 15-18 hours, the bigger one(8oz) 20-35 hours. Burning time may vary depending on other conditions.

Q. Can I use it on a candle warmer?

A. Yes, you can. In case scent gets weaker, Pour out a little bit of molten wax on top.

How to use

- To prevent the wax from tunneling, melt the entire surface down on first use.

- Open windows every 2~3 hours when using in a closed room.

- Trim the wick down before lighting up to make sure the fire stays stable.

- Stop using when there is little wax left on the floor of the jar.

- Avoid placing the candle near flammable objects, children or pets.

- Do not move the candle when lit on fire.

Waterdrops, cracks or white crystallizations
may appear on the surface of the wax.
This is natural for pure soy wax
since it is more vulnerable to temperature and humidity.

Simply light the candle again to remove such occurrences,
as they are not signs of a damaged product.

Warning	Do not light the candle in windy places or near a flammable object. Do not leave the candle unattended. Put out the candle before leaving or going to bed. Keep the candle out of sight of the elderly, children and pets. To avoid excessive singe, trim the wick down to 5mm(3/16 of an inch). Use a wick dipper to prevent excessive smoke. Light the candle for 1~2 hours to evenly melt the surface on first use. Not doing so will cause only the inner part to melt and the light going out, eventually rendering the candle unusable. Only light the candle on an even surface. Do not move the candle when lit. The candle may melt down if placed in high temperature. Leave the last 1cm(0.39 inches) of the candle wax for safer use. White dust may occur from candle wax. To remove this, dust off with soft cloth. To remove wax stuck on the wick or the container, put the candle in the freezer(this causes the wax to shrink) for easier removal. Alternatively, use hot water or a hair dryer(be careful with the high temperature, in these cases).
