PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

▷RSC-3 (Rapid Setting Cationic - 3) : Prime coat

The emulsified asphalt is a dark-brown color paving asphalt in liquid that is manufactured by adding a special emulsifier and stabilizer into asphalt and then dispersing it with small particles (1-3μm). The most prevalently used material is the cationic asphalt emulsion, as it has great viscosity and storage stability.

This is a bituminous material applied to increase the viscosity, damp-proofing and waterproofing quality of the ascon x-layers upon the sub-base (mixture of sand and gravel) (0.1L/m2 ~2.0L/m2 per application amount 1m2, in accordance with the specifications of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport).

We produce an asphalt emulsion for the winter season by adding additives. This emulsion may not freeze until it reaches minus 5 to 7 degrees Celsius (-5°C to -7°C), depends on the storage container, storage period and temperature.

Precautions for handling
▷ Do not mix with other types of asphalt emulsion.
▷ Shake or roll the drum before use, if stored for a long-term.
▷ During cool winter months, it is recommended to heat the product a little (under 60°C) before use.
▷ To prevent the product from freezing, wrap up with sheets for storing during the winter season.
