Product Introduction
The Wearable Airbag for Motorcyclists protects motorcycle riders in case of an accident. When the motorcyclist is thrown from the motorcycle, the safety strap connecting the rider from the motorcycle stretches, the attached key ball is released from the vest and the airbag is inflated within 0.2 seconds to protect the rider’s body actively before it hits the ground.
With its ergonomic, light-weight design and the breathable mesh fabric, the vest-type airbag is worn comfortably even during hot summer days. The mechanical inflation mechanism ensures the inflation of the airbag in case of an accident, and is able to mitigate up to 55% of the fall impact during an accident, actively protecting crucial body parts of the upper body, such as the head, neck, spine and chest area.

Instructions
As an all-in-one wearable airbag system, the vest is fully-assembled with the CO2 cartridge and ready to use at the time of purchase. Before usage, read the accompanying user guide thoroughly. When the rider is thrown from the motorcycle in the case of an accident, the safety strap stretches, and, as soon as the activation distance* is exceeded, forces the key ball to be ejected from the vest. This releases the pin of the inflator which in turn leads to the activation of the airbag. The airbag actively protects crucial body parts such as the head, neck, spine and chest area, and reduces the risk of fatal accidents or heavy injuries. However, the airbag cannot protect the rider from all injuries and cannot guarantee absolute safety.
A considerable force is required for the key ball to be released and the airbag to be inflated, thus the airbag should not be activated during normal use. To avoid incidental activation, however, make sure to disconnect the vest from the motorcycle when getting off.
The safety strap should be fully stretched when standing on the pegs in an upright position. Attach the strap to the front or rear seat, or to the neck of the handle, depending on the size and make of the motorcycle. Do not attach the safety strap to the engine or muffler; to any part where it could disturb riding the motorcycle; or where it could get caught in the wheels. A buckle to fix the safety strap to the motorcycle for storage is sold separately. If you possess several motorcycles, we recommend you to purchase additional straps (one for each motorcycle).
To reactivate the airbag after inflation, first remove the used CO2 cartridge, and then remove all remaining air from the airbag by spreading the vest and pressing down on the airbag using your hands and knees. Carefully check the vest and airbag for any possible damage that may have occurred during the accident. In case the vest or airbag was damaged, contact your local seller for assistance. You can reassemble the CO2 cartridge and reactivate the airbag by yourself following the instructions in the video or on the images found on the next page. If you feel unsure about the reassembling of the CO2 cartridge and the reactivation of the airbag contact your local seller.

Safety Precautions
· The airbag cannot guarantee absolute safety.
· Do not wear any clothes on top of the airbag. Solely wear the airbag as outerwear.
· Make sure to connect the safety strap to the motorcycle before departing.
· For the airbag to inflate, a weight of 30~35kg has to be applied on the key ball and the activation distance has to be exceeded.
· If the activation distance is not exceeded, the airbag will not be inflated (i.e., if the motorcycle and the rider fall together).
· The airbag may be inflated even without reaching the activation distance if a substantial force is applied on the key ball. To avoid any accidental inflation, always make sure to disconnect the safety strap from the motorcycle before getting off.
· The CO2 cartridge is disposable and cannot be reused. Once the airbag has been inflated, replace the cartridge.
· Check the vest and the airbag for eventual damage after an accident and send it to maintenance if necessary.
· Leave the vest on a hanger to store and avoid high temperatures and high humidity.
· Safeware holds no responsibility for the malfunction or failure of the product due to improper installation and usage
· As an all-in-one airbag product the vest is not washable. To remove local stains, use warm water with pH neutral detergent and wipe down with a damp towel or sponge. Hang to dry.
· Do not submerge in water. Water entering the airbag or the mechanical components may lead to malfunctioning or failure of the product.
· In case of malfunctioning or damage of the product due to the failure to follow the instructions given by Safeware Inc., all responsibility lies with the user.
· Leave the vest on a hanger to store. Avoid high temperatures or humidity and do not cover with anything heavy. To avoid accidental inflation of the airbag, make sure that the safety strap does not get caught in other objects.

Warranty Information
1. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product.
2. This product has undergone strict quality and process control and was produced solely in South Korea.
3. Carefully read the user guide and safety precautions before usage.
4. Do not wash. To remove local stains, use a pH neutral detergent and wipe down with a damp towel.
5. The warranty period for this product is one year from the day of purchase.

* The following cases are not covered by the warranty and the repair is at the user's expense:
1. Damage by improper use or storage.
2. Damage from alteration of the product by the user.
3. Damage from failure to follow the instructions of the user guide, including defects from cartridge exchange.
4. This warranty does not cover the replacement cost of the CO2 cartridge.

Compensation Policies
1. Exchanges and returns are possible within 14 days of purchase for unused products.
2. For fabric, garment or sewing defects free repair is possible within 30 days of purchase.
3. Exchanges and refunds are only possible at the place of purchase along with the purchase receipt. Safeware will be held in no way responsible for any risk that may occur while using the product, including injuries or death.
