xPMU(eXtended micro Phasor Measurement Unit) is a PMU based high-precision power measurement device that measures the state of power generation of dispersed power sources and renewable energy sources, load and energy storage devices in the micro grid system, then transmits them to PMS(Power Management System).
Through this, it can precisely measure the amount of DC power supplied by solar power generation & power conversion devices, and can manage the efficiency of equipment and utilization rate of facilities.
In addition, when the security of the system is damaged and an accident occurs, The algorithm inside the device detects and records the material before & after the accident for later troubleshooting analysis or maintenance.
µPMD communication is an Ethernet based real time TCP (or UDP) protocol that transmits measurement date and event log files and provides an interface to remotely control the device environment.
It provides precise time-tagging in conjunction with the GPS start motive, which can be used to monitor and control the dynamic characteristics of the small-scale grid.
