Sharklet is a structure mounted on the main wing end of the A320 aircraft series, replacing existing wing tips.
Shacklets are generally L-shaped (1.6m wide, 3.3m long) and play an eco-friendly structure that reduces air resistance and improves fuel efficiency by more than 3.5% over existing wing tip aircraft.
The shakelet consists of a skin panel, a spa (front & rear spar), a lip (rib), and a tip cap.
AIRBUS is continuing to develop and replace the A320 aircraft series and the Shaklet development and replacement business, and the A330 aircraft production and the Shaklet application project are under preparation and the tip cap market will continue to grow steadily.
