The Emergency Integrated Lifesaving LanYard - or Emily - is a 25-pound, remote-controlled robot, fashioned much like a baby jet ski. She is designed to be deployed as a turbo-charged lifeguard, able to blast through rough surf and get to swimmers in distress within seconds.

EMILY is a fast, reliable, state of the art rescue device.
Engineered to race through heavy sufr, EMILY has proper balance for quick self-righting performance. The deep, 22 degree hull is designed to track straight during wave breaching. EMILY will survive impack at full speed of in surf with rocks, reef, of pillings. She is built to last with a durable kevlar reinforced hull and marine grade canvas.
EMILY is routinely tested at Zume Beach, CA, with the cooperation of the Los Angeles Country Lifeguards and Rescue Teams. Training available in Malibu or we can come to you.
