TW’s basic design for IFR adheres to API 650 appendix H and TW tank experience helps TW IFR to expand its function beyond the unexpected challenges the tank may have. Irregular tank shells and abnormal (narrow or wide) rim space are analyzed and calculated to attain the desired vapor loss reduction. Abundant field experience has transcended TW IFR design and technologies.
All components are designed to pass though existing tank manways and IFR penetrations such as columns and poles which are provided with a well box and seal to allow IFR to freely travel inside the tank.
