EXPEL-200D is a very effective size in neutral and slightly alkaline condition, especially in paper made from furnish that contains CaCO3. Sizing can be promoted by adding a small amount of CaCO3 to furnish that contains other fillers such as talc,etc.

EXPEL-200D is an effective size for stock that contains unbleached pulp and/or recycled pulp, provided the pH of the stock is in the region of 7-8. This ensures that the alum in the recycled pulp does not cause any difficulties. Expel-200D is also a very effective size in paper required for high wet strength and strong size degree.

EXPEL-200D is usually fully cured and shows maximum size degree within 1-2 days. The higher the drying temperature and pH, more quickly it cures. Proper use of fixing agent can enhance sizing efficiency
