Traditional fermented Juice from wild grasses - Omija
Omija also called magnolia berry or five-flavor-fruit comes from the Schisandra chinensis and are red berries.
The name comes from the fact that its berries possess all five basic flavors: salty, sweet, sour, pungent (spicy), and bitter.
Its berries are used in traditional medicine, where it is considered one of the 50 fundamental herbs.
Through a traditional manufacturing method, we have put the nature of ‘Heavenly Nature – Inje’ into the Onggi pot, made with clay collected directly from nature and baked twice at 1300-degrees Celsius in a kiln.
The Omija fermented juice is made from the omija exclusively grown in Inje-gun, which is known to have the omija’s excellent taste which consists of the sour, sweet, bitter, salty, and spicy tastes. Inje-gun is known to have the most abundant production of natural omija in the country due to the large temperature difference between night and day.
How to drink:
Depending on your preference, dilute with ice or water.
If you want to experiece rich and full flavor drink as is.
Serve chilled for better taste.
Store in a cool dry place out of sunlight.
Keep refrigerated after opening.

Introduction
The Agricultural Association Corporation ‘ENZYME CENTER’ is a factory for fermenting wild grasses, located 700 meters above sea level at 453-43, Wonnam-ro, Nam-myeon, Inje-gun, Gangwon-do, overlooking the Naerincheon and the Wondae-ri white birch forrest.The Enzyme Center was selected to participate in the cooperative project of local governments by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Rural Affairs. The center was built in a floor space of 150 pyeong (about 495.88㎡) with loess bricks, in an area of 670 pyeong (about 2,214.88㎡). It is equipped with an office, washing room, fermenting room, ripening room, sterilizing room, filling room, storage warehouse, and an outdoor fermenting field with a training center for fermenting wild grasses. The factory produces about 600 traditional Onggi pots of natural fermented products of wild grasses.
