Ever since its foundation in December 1981, Hyun Dae Electric has been growing as a professional electric ship repair company. Our company was the first in the nation to develop fish-luring light, stabilizer for fish-luring light, and annunciator in 1983 and has been supplying these products to various domestic fisheries companies.

Also, Hyun Dae Electric Factory (Factory 2: located in Namhang-dong Yeongdo-gu Busan) was constructed in 1988 to stretch our scope to supply of distribution boards and panels for ships. We have been developing and selling navigation consoles including primary distribution board, various panels, searchlight and ventilator to domestic shipyards, but we selected searchlight, ventilator, and engine annunciator as R&D targets in September 2013 to cope with rapid changes in the market and secure new growth engine.

Especially, xenon searchlight of our company mounted and operated on Araon the one and only icebreaking research vessel of Korea, patrol ships of Korea Coast Guard, and various government ships are being improved for better quality through research and development. We try to return expectations of our customers by developing new products with additional functions.

Trade Show

The HD-XR/SA product series is the new product series that our company developed. It is a xenon searchlight with a function that can enhance the concentration of the user during the search activity.

Existing products use adjustable lever that sticks out of the top part of the wheel house to manually control the head section of the searchlight or search and track the target by using the electrical motor in the gear box where the head section is located to use the control lever.

However, the HD-XR/SA series has 3 mode search functions that bring out maximum efficiency, and each mode is shown below.

1. ‘M’mode: It searches and tracks the target using the remote control lever just as the existing ones.

2. ‘S’ mode: It repeats rotation in a given angle if it is set with right and left rotation range using the rotation angle controller of the remote control and it can focus its search on a particular location automatically.Because it can set the left and right search range independently from each other, it can expand and concentrate on the left and right search range with the least intervention by the controller.

Not only that, but it can also reset the search range with top and bottom adjustment using remote control lever when the target is not found by repeatedly searching left and right range, and it automatically starts repeated searching of left and right range that is assigned once the remote control lever goes back to its neutral position.

3. ‘A’mode: It follows top, bottom, left, and right in a certain pattern following the program entered in PIC (Programmable Integrated Circuit) while left and right search range can be set independently with the left and right rotation angle controller of the remote control panel. Top and bottom range is designated according to the request of the user when the searchlight is installed, but it can be reset through a simple method.

The three modes of search functions of the HD-XR/SA products donot only promptly handle various situations, but also focus on searching and tracking with the least number of manpower on during the emergency, making the search speed faster and lessening the degree of fatigue of the management personnel.

Therefore, it provides outstanding ability to react to different situations both on land and water especially to the users of fishing boats, ordinary cargo ships, and vessels with special mission, sailing on the polar region and guarding posts in danger zones.

Remote Control Panel generally equipped to Wheelhouse Consol is consisted of a variety of Switch and Monitoring Signal LED lamps to utilize all searchlight functions.

Lever Switch, which is factory-installed on all products and simultaneously navigable in one-way and two-way, offers optimal performance during general navigation situations and emergency navigation situations, as well as a mechanical lifespan of over 5 million uses and a Duralumin handle that provides superior durability and

controllability.
