Solution to fouling and scale problem:
If it is operated at high temperature(>70℃), fouling and scale are likely to occur, which is the main cause of heat exchanger performance degradation.
The top brine temperature(TBT) of MEAWT process is relatively low compared  to the existing evaporative water treatment technology, and is operated below the metastable zone where hydrated sulfate mineral gypsum(CaSO4·2H2O) can be generated. Therefore, the occurrence of fouling and scaling can be minimized.
